Our bike left Heathrow on New Years day as planned and should now be with Customs in Sydney Airport, before undergoing the Biosecurity checks with the Dept of Agriculture (think Border Force, the daytime TV programme). It should sail through after the two days of cleaning I did – I learnt how to clean Enduro bikes from the best in the business Steve Ireland and used those same techniques on the BM. If it doesn’t pass, it will need to be taken to a decontamination/cleaning depot for another clean and then back for reinspection, all at our expense and apparently that can cost $1000’s! Fingers crossed. Cheers Lobo.
