What a great name. It's just rolls of the tongue. Tantanoola is a small regional town in South Australia which we passed through on our way to Kingston SE.

We are slowly getting into the rhythm of life on the road, wake up early, wash, pack the tent up, pack the bike (our things seem to be expanding). Yoga, some fruit to eat for breakfast and hit the road. Today we did manage a walk out to the lighthouse reserve and see the wallabies before heading off.

Following the A1 Princes Highway from Port Fairy along the coast through rich farmland and eucalypt forests on gently winding and quiet roads. The scenery and ride were very pleasant as we entered into our third State of South Australia.

We booked a shared cabin on a caravan park for the evening to which was only a little more than the camping fees for all of us and glad of the bed and kitchen facilities and a chance to do some laundry.

Lobo and Linda had a close encounter with a deadly brown snake on their evening walk and I discovered a leak from the water pump breather hole on the engine which I will have to keep an eye on.
